Veeneya Bedagu Festival in memory of Veena Seshanna - Bangalore

Veeneya Bedagu, a musical festival in memory of Veena Seshanna is organised in Bangalore, under the auspices of Swaramurthy V.N. Rao Memorial Trust and Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts from Feb. 20 to Feb. 23, 2019.


The Trust presents Veena Seshanna Memorial National Award to Vidwan Anayampatti Ganesan, who is a senior vocalist, violinist and a jalatharangam artiste. Vidushi R A Ramamani will receive Swaramurthy V.N. Rao Memorial National Award. Each award carries a purse of Rs. 1 lakh with other paraphernalia. The awards are sponsored by Dr. Veerendra Heggade and Dr. A.H. Rama Rao.
